Halloween wedding cake

This was such a fun wedding!  A halloween wedding, complete with cobwebs and spikey bushes.  I so enjoyed decorating this cake, and her decor was the the best I've seen in themed weddings.  Such a fun cake!  This cake was Swiss chocolate with coconut pecan filling, lemon, with lemon glaze and buttercream filling, marbled chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and french vanilla with raspberry cream cheese filling.  Cobwebs are dusted with iridescent luster dust, to give them purple sheen.

Sunflower Wedding

This bride combined huge sunflowers with large red roses to make such impressive designs.  Her cake was done in excellent flavors, as well - German chocolate with coconut pecan filling, carrot cake and cream cheese, french vanilla and cream cheese, as well as white cake and raspberry filling.  What a great way to treat your guests to a rich party!

Sunflowers, Daisies and Roses

This great couple combined the bright yellow of sunflowers with the deep red of roses, and it worked beautifully for their outdoor wedding!

Cornelli Lace and Architecture

This beautiful ivory and black cake reminds me of Moroccan architecture, or something from ancient eastern places.  I love the design from a very chic and tasteful bride.

Flower birthday, Garden party

For this girls party, she wanted nothing but candy and flowers.  This was what we came up with.  It's done with Swedish fish, peach and apple rings, large pearl sprinkles, sour pink tape, chocolate candies, and raspberries from Hasbro candies.  She is such a cute little girl!

Dr. Seuss Birthday

Mia's cousin kate and mini cakes to match

Although the customers who ordered the Mia and Kate cakes are not at all related (that I know of), these are great pictures to compare the difference between buttercream icing and fondant. You get quite different textures, although both look and taste great. Fondant and buttercream can both be flavored/colored in a variety of ways!

These cupcakes were also made to match the design of the flowers and butterfly cakes

Blue white and green beauty

This fabulous bride chose blue white and green for her colors. It was amazing! The blue really 'popped' in all of her decorations and clothing. She chose a different flavor for each layer: the top carrot cake and cream cheese filling, the middle lemon cake with buttercream filling, and the largest bottom layer was devil's food cake with raspberry filling. The guests loved the cake flavors, and took their time enjoying the choices.
